Laura--you asked about subsequent project or "right on the heels of the current novel. Yes, yes, yes. In the process of dealing with copy edits for an upcoming publication, I stepped away for 6 weeks to spend 4 weeks working on a new novel and 2 weeks "connecting" with other writers and family. For me, writing is life-giving. I think that's true for you as well. We are so lucky that way. "Onto the next," I always say.
Thank you, Camille! I don't have a lot of national promo on my list; the big one is the library conference in Washington, DC, in late June. I'll be there visiting my parents and I was invited to join a panel. Otherwise, a signing in Berkeley and a reading in Bend!

More books from Laura, the author. Yes!
I've been meaning to reach out and give you an update about the new one! My agent loved it. Thank you again for your editorial brilliance.
I’m so glad to hear!!
Laura— Will you be doing any national on-the-road promotion?
You are so amazing, and I guess you’ve heard this already. 💕

So awesome Laura! PS I love your dress!
Thank you, Val! It's vintage, circa 1950s, from The Vault in Beaverton.
Yay to more books! It seems like the more books I have out, the more new projects I'm gestating. Ideas beget ideas.
Laura, this is so happy-making! Thank you for the day brightener! Have a wonderful Bay Area visit!
Wow…congrats again! Doing just what George saunders says leads to literary success…revising and persisting!
